What is Chronic Pelvic Pain?
Chronic pelvic pain, or CPP, is the name for pain in the pelvic area that lasts more than 6 months. The pain may be constant, or it may come and go.

What are the possible causes of Chronic Pelvic Pain?
If you have chronic pelvic pain, you may have a problem with something located in the pelvic area. However, your doctor will check for other possible sources for your pain. Pelvic pain during sexual intercourse, for example, may be a sign of a medical condition like endometriosis, irritable bowel syndrome or urethritis, or it may be related to past or present sexual abuse.

How is Chronic Pelvic Pain is diagnosed ?

How Chronic Pelvic Pain is treated ?
It can be treated by following methods

Relaxation exercises, biofeedback and physical therapy.
Antibiotics.
Psychological counseling.
