Introduction

Osteochondrosis is an abnormal condition (found in children) in the formation of bone and cartilage. Causes

Symptoms & Signs
The symptoms in the various patients vary, depending on exactly where the Osteochondrosis has developed. But the pain, accompanied by restricted movement, is a symptom common to all. Although, both the legs are usually affected by the conditions, the pain in one is often more than the other. This variance often results in the healthy leg developing in a much better way than the affected one.

Your doctor will diagnose Osteochondrosis through a careful evaluation of the medical history in addition to a thorough physical and medical examination.
Prevention
Since Osteochondrosis is a genetic disease there is no way to prevent it. If it is in your family you could have it no more what measures your devise. But yes diet and exercise do play an important role in making the conditions unwelcoming the disease.
